“[A] charming and expressive picture book debut...”
“[An] excellent picture-book debut....”
“A charming tale of a friendship in which a few things in common mean so much to two protagonists.”
--School Library Journal
Philomena lived in an old house filled with stuff. Horace lived in a new house and never kept anything he didn’t absolutely need. Philomena liked to cook. Horace hated cooking. Philomena’s garden was a riot of color. Horace’s garden was simple and serene. Friendship between the two seems unlikely but blossoms anyway.
